Hendersøn&co. is a boutique hair styling salon just out of Cardiff city centre.
We pride ourselves on being super friendly folk, offering you bespoke colouring & cutting services.
The team previously held senior positions at Toni & Guy, Saks and various Aveda salons.
We love hair and love to learn new techniques and have regular training from the Kevin Murphy art team.
We’re also a session salon which means our staff have experience of catwalk/magazine work so we can bring fantastic skills to the salon for everyday hair.
We want everyone to feel totally comfortable and special in our salon.
Our goals are to listen to your needs and to make you look and feel incredible when you leave.
We solely use Kevin Murphy products and colours as we believe in being environmentally friendly as possible, we only use high quality products and colours, we also keep our prices very affordable. We are proud to be members of the green salon collective. This way we can recycle everything responsibly even down to the hair we cut off your heads!
Kellie is an authorised and trained Colour Educator.

Kellie Henderson — Director
Kellie Henderson was originally born in Norway has been hairdressing in Cardiff for over 20 years, previously holding positions at Toni & Guy and Saks. Upon the closure of Saks she decided to open her own salon, one where she can offer clients her skills without the huge town centre prices.
Kellie employs and trains staff to the highest quality and also rents out chairs to people she knows and trusts, having confidence their work is up to a high standard. This gives people a chance to work their own hours around their lifestyles; creating a fair and friendly environment.

Our Services
Colouring Services
We only use the highest quality COLOR.ME by Kevin Murphy in the salon. They’re cruelty free, ammonia free creating a better environment for our clients and staff. It is also free from PPD's, sulphates, parabens, better for you and the enviroment!! 🐰
Products
We use Kevin Murphy products at our salon as we believe in caring for our environment and products that work. Born from the same philosophy as skincare, Kevin Murphy products are weightlessly designed to deliver performance, strength and longevity.
When searching the world for ingredients, Kevin Murphy looked for companies that use micro cultivation, organic growing practices or ecologically sound wild harvesting techniques to ensure the Kevin Murphy range is of the very highest natural quality.
All packaging is either recyclable or biodegradable.

Sustainability
Here at henderson & co we understand the impact industries like ours has on the environment so we make sure we can recycle the unrecyclable. This includes hair, dirty foils and empty colour tubes. We only use biodegradable towels, working with Green salon collective to make all this possible. our basins are fitted with eco heads to save 65% of water usage too!

Please note: Prices may vary due to length and thickness, so all our prices are a starting guide.
We use Vish to weigh colour to the gram so its exact not guess work when charging correctly and fairly on different length and thickness.
If you haven’t had colour with us before or it’s been over 6 months since your last colour service please book in for a consultation so we can do an allergy test at least 48hrs prior or the service or we will not be able to carry out any colour service!

If you haven’t had a colour service with us before it’s essential to book a consultation and patch test at least 48hrs prior to your appointment. If you book a colour service and don’t book consultation or allergy test unfortunately you will be charged fully on the day, we are a small business and can’t afford empty chairs and staff with no hair to do :(
