Kellie
Kellie Henderson, originally from Norway, has been hairdressing in Cardiff for over 25 years. Her career includes senior roles at Toni & Guy and Saks, where she built a reputation for high standards and exceptional client care.
Following the closure of Saks, Kellie opened her own salon with a clear vision: to offer a welcoming inclusive space for clients and staff.
Kellie personally trains and mentors her team to the highest standard and also rents chairs to experienced stylists she knows and trusts. This approach creates a supportive, flexible, and friendly environment, allowing stylists to work around their lifestyles while ensuring every client receives consistently high-quality service.
Colouring Services
We use COLOR.ME by Kevin Murphy—a high-performance, cruelty-free, ammonia-free colour range that’s kinder to hair, skin, and the environment. It’s also free from PPDs, sulphates, and parabens 🐰.
We also use INCOLOUR by INSIGHT. An Italian haircare brand which focuses on sustainability, natural ingredients. Vegan and cruelty free.
Products
We use Kevin Murphy products, inspired by skincare and designed to deliver strength, condition, and long-lasting results without weight or build-up. All packaging is recyclable or biodegradable. Cruelty free and sustainable.
INSIGHT, focused on vegan formulas, sustainability, and naturally derived ingredients.
At H&Co we care about the quality of the products we use and our impact on our environment. And we love animals so we only use cruelty free brands.
Sustainability
We’re proud members of the Green Salon Collective, recycling materials that can’t usually be recycled—including hair, foils, and colour tubes. We also use biodegradable towels and eco-fitted basins taps, reducing water usage by up to 65%.
Rates
Please note: Prices may vary depending on hair length and thickness. All prices are a starting guide.
We use Vish to weigh colour to the gram, ensuring pricing is accurate and fair rather than estimated, based on individual hair length and thickness.
If you haven’t had a colour service with us before, or if it has been over six months since your last colour appointment, please book a consultation. This allows us to carry out a required allergy test at least 48 hours prior to your service. Without this, we will be unable to proceed with any colour service.
